La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pontoon Beach

We loved staying here. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and polite. The manager even drove us to our bus station instead of us having to take an Uber. They have an indoor pool (it goes to 4ft deep) that my daughter really enjoyed. They have hot breakfast every morning that has a big variety of foods. We don’t have any complaints other than the housekeeping never changed our sheets (we stayed there for a week and a half). We left the room to have full service cleaning a few times and every time we came back the sheets and blankets were the same ones as before, just made the bed with the same ones and they didn’t wipe down counters or sweep. We told housekeeping a few times but not sure they understood it wasn’t a huge deal though. Everything else was amazing.

Stayed here since I had a layover for work. Front desk service was great. Polite, attentive. Room was nice. However it wasn't to clean. There was hair in the bed, underneath the covers & hair in the shower & shower wall. The pillows are flat. Breakfast is nice with a good variety. The pool was also dirty. It had a glaze on top of it & also had hair floating around also. Not sure why their is black hair everywhere. Price was good for the stay.

The gentleman at the front desk remembered my name after only hearing it at check-in. Whenever they did not have somwthing out that they had on hand for breakfast, they got it right away. So the service was great! The rooms do not have a thermostat or central air. They use a wall unit, so the room is,not quite equally cooled and there are times of day where the water pressure is very low. The breakfast and pool are functional. So generally a decent stay and definitely conveniently located for our purposes.

I didn’t have any services done; didn’t checkout the breakfast or anything. Stayed 3 nights while attending a wedding. I kept the Do Not Disturb on my door & was never bothered. Staff seemed to be nice & accommodating; did not hear otherwise. Plenty of parking. Right where we needed the hotel to be located. No complaints whatsoever.

Very spacious room. It was clean. The remote for the TV did not work for the TV and the 2nd TV did not have a remote. That was not too much of an issue though since we were going to sleep.

Our room was quite, the bed was comfortable, hotel has a good variety of breakfast offerings, stayed 2 nights both were good nights, staff is always ready with a smile and very friendly

Service was very polite and helpful. They weee very fast for getting me a room. The room was HUGE compared to others we have stayed in (1 king). Wished for a little bit cleaner but it was definitely acceptable. Location was perfect. This Hotel is honestly the best one you can stay at if you are dropping your vehicle off at the VPC. Yes they allow pets and military discount for those wondering.

The staff were great and very helpful. 10/10 The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was nice and comfortable. They have shampoo and conditioner plus soap for people. The property was well kept and the outside was apeeling to the eye.
